2025, Africa : More Than Promises, Action !
I want to start this year thinking about how we can use emerging technology to bring solutions to African communities’ problems. I hope this year brings advancements in innovation, increased capital raising, and more unicorns in Africa.
Currently, we have nine unicorn startups. In one year, I’d like to see more than 25. I don’t have a startup to scale up into a unicorn myself, I’m a computer science student, but that’s no reason, I know I can do better, you always start somewhere. However, I hope my peers will also give their best to grow their startups or products.
This year, I will be talking about technology in Africa, startups, and more. I’m back!
Most people say, ‘Africa is the future,’ but I think we must focus on the present to bring change, innovate, and learn more to be able to build the future, not forgetting research and development.
